There’s no progress without space for industry. In the Netherlands, this space is becoming scarcer and scarcer. That’s why WDP and HMO are working together to better the use of existing locations, make them more attractive and more sustainable.


With re:GEN, we are developing industrial sites in Overijssel, preparing them for the future. Great for a strong manufacturing industry, with more employment opportunities, all while being less taxing on the environment.  


It’s also where logistics is being shaped – thanks to Scania’s new assembly line for trucks – while TenCate Grass is renewing its products and making them more sustainable.

A jump forward for TenCate and Scania

TenCate Grass has been intricately linked to Nijverdal for centuries. At the R&D and production site in Nijverdal-North, the old company building is making way for a sustainable factory. This factory uses significantly less water and energy, ensuring that TenCate Grass is ready for the future.

In the business park Voorsterpoort in Zwolle, truck manufacturer Scania is expanding its activities around logistics and the assembly of trucks.
The area development ensures more efficient space usage and gives mobility a strong boost.

TenCate Grass has been rooted in Nijverdal for centuries. At the R&D and production site in northern Nijverdal, an old building is currently being demolished and a new factory built. It’s an investment that promotes the rich industrial tradition of the area, but fuses it with hypermodern production technology.


In the Voorsterpoort industrial area in Zwolle, truck manufacturer Scania is expanding its activities in logistics and the assembly of electric trucks. The area development ensures more efficient space usage and gives mobility a strong boost.

TenCate Grass has had close ties with Nijverdal for centuries. At the R&D and production location to the north of Nijverdal, room is being made at the old company site for a sustainable factory. It uses considerably less water and energy, ensuring TenCate Grass is ready for the future.


On the industrial estate Voorsterpoort in Zwolle, truck producer Scania is expanding its activities relating to logistics and the assembly of electric trucks. The development guarantees more efficient use of space and gives e-mobility a hefty push.
