re:GEN

re:GEN is short for 'regeneration': rebirth or revival. That is exactly what WDP and HMO are doing in Overijssel.
Injecting new life into outdated industry, and making room for new developments and expansions.

In this process, we do not start from a blank slate, but build on what already exists. Also figuratively, out of respect for the intertwining of the companies and their economic and social importance.

From outdated to future-ready

TenCate Grass has been rooted in Nijverdal for a century and a half, Scania has been growing for decades in Zwolle. Both companies want to expand and become more sustainable. We give them room to grow with attention to the environment. Outdated factories are becoming hyper-modern production centers. Existing sites are being given new functions. That is regeneration in practice.

The region at the center

Say re:GEN and you hear 'region'. That is also perfectly accurate. This project revolves around the Overijssel region, around established companies with big ambitions, around people who live and work here. We develop for the region. For companies that belong here. For local employment.

Simple, but effective

re:GEN says in five letters what we stand for: letting industrial locations revive, with the region as the starting point. It can be that simple.

In doing so, we do not start with a blank slate, but build on what already exists. Figuratively as well, out of respect for the interconnectedness of the companies and their economic and social importance.

Simple, yet impactful
